1:00pm to 4:00pm
This is a short introduction to the BERRI outcome measurement system, aimed at providers of fostering or residential care services, therapy providers, education providers, and local authority and commissioning staff. It is designed to cover what BERRI does, how it helps to improve care for young people, and what it could bring to your decision making about the appropriate placements or services for young people.
Hosted by Dr Miriam Silver, Consultant Clinical Psychologist, the afternoon will start with a one-hour presentation about BERRI. There will then be examples of how BERRI is used in practice and some of the findings to date, with input from a commissioner who has used BERRI and has worked closely with providers who subscribe, followed by a Q&A session.
This can be combined with the morning session on attachment and trauma for a whole day booking if desired.
