How can we understand the appeal of authoritarian populist leaders? How do the likes of Orbán, Erdogan and Trump survive gaffes and revelations? Professor of Psychology at St. Andrews University, Stephen Reicher outlines a new approach to the psychology of leadership and its links with democracy. Introduced by Dr Kristin Hildenbrand, lecturer in Leadership and Organisational Behaviour at the University of Sheffield.

This event is part of the 'Our Democracy' strand which has kindly been sponsored by Sheffield College.
