2:00pm to 4:00pm
Orca is a strange kind of free/open source two-dimensional sequencer, a visual programming playground that's been taking the world of esoteric music technology by storm. For more info on Orca, see the documentation and installation instructions, or have a look at a tutorial video. This short hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop will be lead by its creator, giving an overview of some of its applications in livecoding, and design philosophy.
Participants will need to bring their own laptop (OSX/Windows/Linux), and headphones - let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org if that's a problem, or if you have any questions.
If tickets are sold out don't worry, we hope to increase capacity for most workshops. You can join the waitlist in that case by emailing us at email@example.com, stating which workshop you'd like to join and (in a sentence) what you hope to get out of it.
